Jake's Testimony I was born in Ontario to a Mennonite family. At the age of ten, we moved to
Mexico where I became more familiar with the Mennonite culture and language.
When I was a teenager, we moved back to Canada. I was married in 1992 and the
Lord has blessed my wife and me with three children.I had become very discontent and dissatisfied in my life. My sister, who was saved, began sharing the Gospel with me and God really started to convict me about my need for salvation. On October 29, 2000, I asked Jesus Christ to save me from my sins. We began attending Pembina Valley Baptist Church where I became active in various ministries including youth leader, Sunday school teacher, usher, and directing activities at youth camp. | Anna's Testimony I was also raised in a Mennonite home. My family moved from Mexico to Canada
when I was three years old. I grew up attending a conservative Old Colony
Mennonite church where salvation was taught by works. At the age of seven I
accepted Christ as my Saviour during an invitation given by an evangelist I was
watching on television with my dad one night. It was not until the fall of 2000
when my family and I began attending Pembina Valley Baptist Church that I
understood the full meaning of what happened in my life that day. Now, my
husband and I work as youth leaders in our church, and I also serve in other
ministries including nursery, singing in choral groups and choir, and as a
youth camp worker. | Our Children
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? "And how shall they preach, except they be sent?" – Romans 10:13-15 |

We started our pre-field ministry (deputation) July 3, 2011. As of May 17, 2012 we have been in 54 churches to present our ministry and we are currently at 40% of our support needed. We are praying and planning to move to Mexico during the month of May 2013, Lord willing. Praise God for His faithful provision in everything!

Dr. Sullivant :: President & Founder I heard someone say, "God does not call the worst from our congregation, He
calls some of the best." That is true of the Friesens. Since their joining the
church, they have been involved. They have worked in a multitude of ministries
with youth as their specialty. We, at Pembina Valley Baptist Church, stand
behind the Friesen family and trust that you will prayerfully consider doing
the same. | Brian Booth :: General Director It gives me great pleasure to be able to announce that the Friesens have chosen
to associate their ministry with ours. They are very active in the ministry at
Pembina Valley Baptist Church, of which our ministry is part. We have been to
Mexico, and have seen the need there for churches among the Mennonite people.
This ministry is well worthy of your support. |
